The AlleyCat is a small electric pusher-prop sport flyer with the kind of compact, twin-boom layout that has become a standard category at flying fields since the rise of brushless outrunner motors and lithium-polymer batteries in the mid-2000s. Like every well-loved pusher-prop park-flyer, it earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: small enough to fly almost anywhere, slow enough to learn on, and quick enough to reward a pilot who has graduated past a basic high-wing trainer.

The layout has a logic of its own. The pusher-mounted prop sits behind the wing rather than in front of the cockpit, which keeps the propwash off the canopy and creates an unusually open visual line ahead of the pilot's view from the field. Twin tail booms carry the empennage clear of the prop disc. A flat-bottomed or symmetrical airfoil and oversize control surfaces give the airframe enough authority for a basic aerobatic vocabulary — loops, rolls, low passes — without the kinetic consequences of a heavier balsa airframe.

The bigger picture is the small-electric-sport category itself. Foam pusher-prop sport flyers — whether commercial designs from major brands or any of dozens of similar layouts from competing manufacturers — have become one of the most populous categories at modern flying fields, occupying the niche between basic trainer and dedicated 3D foamy.

An accessible step beyond the basic trainer. The AlleyCat's pusher layout gives unusual visual orientation cues — the prop is behind the wing, so the silhouette reads cleanly from any angle. Use it for casual sport flying, basic aerobatic figures, and the kind of low-and-slow afternoon that small electric foamies do best. Pairs well with parkland and small grass-strip landscapes that suit the foamy character.
