The Reflection is a low-wing electric sport-aerobatic foamy in the kind of compact, agile category that has dominated intermediate aerobatic flying since the rise of brushless outrunner motors and lithium-polymer batteries in the mid-2000s. Like every well-loved sport-aerobatic foamy, it earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: light enough for honest aerobatic figures, tough enough to survive the inevitable mistakes of intermediate flying, and simple enough to pull out of the box and have flying the same afternoon.

The recipe is well-established. A symmetrical or semi-symmetrical airfoil for clean inverted flight, oversize control surfaces for response, a brushless installation and lithium-polymer battery for quiet hassle-free operation, and the kind of low-wing layout that bridges the gap between a high-wing trainer and a dedicated 3D mount.

The bigger picture is the sport-aerobatic foamy category itself. Whether commercial designs from major brands or any of dozens of similar layouts from competing manufacturers, electric sport-aerobatic foamies have become one of the most populous categories at modern flying fields, occupying the natural progression slot between basic foam trainer and dedicated 3D foamy.
