About

The Mini Delta is a small electric delta-wing sport flyer in the kind of compact, triangular planform that has been a staple of the foam sport-flying category for two decades. The delta layout — a swept triangular wing with no separate horizontal tail — gives the airframe a distinctive look and a flight character that differs from the conventional high-wing or low-wing trainer: sharper response, faster wing-loading, and the kind of slippery low-drag profile that suits a small powerful brushless installation.

Like every well-loved delta-wing foamy, the Mini Delta earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: small enough to fly almost anywhere, fast enough to be exciting on the controls, and durable enough to survive the inevitable hard landings of casual sport flying. Elevon control surfaces (combined elevators and ailerons) on the trailing edge provide all pitch and roll authority, with a small vertical fin on the centerline for yaw stability.

The "mini" prefix marks this as a smaller-scale member of the broader delta foamy category — the kind of airframe that fits in a backpack and turns a calm evening at the local park into a sport-flying session.

In the simulator

A fast, sharp-handling delta. Quick response, narrow turn radius, and approach speeds that demand precision compared to a conventional trainer. Use it for sport-jet-style flying at the smallest scale. A natural sibling of the Force One and Manta delta variants in earlier packs.
