About

The "Cessna" model in this pack is a small electric park-flyer in the Cessna-style high-wing single-engine general-aviation silhouette, marked with the livery of Art-Tech, a Chinese RC manufacturer that has produced ready-to-fly foam aircraft for the international RC market since the mid-2000s. The "Cessna look" — high wing, single radial-style cowl, conventional tail, sport-trainer color scheme — has become a generic shorthand for "friendly RC aircraft" in the foam-park-flyer category, regardless of which specific full-scale Cessna model the proportions might suggest.

Like every well-loved foam park-flyer, the Cessna in this pack earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: light enough to fly slowly, tough enough to survive the inevitable mistimed landings of casual sport flying, and simple enough to take out of the box and fly the same afternoon. The high-wing layout self-rights when you let go of the sticks, the generous dihedral keeps the airframe stable in light wind, and the bright, high-visibility livery keeps orientation clear at altitude.

The bigger picture is the Cessna-shaped foamy category itself. From the Multiplex EasyStar derivatives through Art-Tech, Volantex, FMS, and the dozens of similar designs from competing brands that fill modern online RC retailers, the "high-wing single-engine GA park-flyer" silhouette has become the modern face of casual electric RC flying — descended from the real Cessna 172 / 182 lineage and standing in for that whole category in the foamy market.

In the simulator

A friendly park-flyer for relaxed afternoon flying. Stable, predictable, slow enough to react to, with the kind of gentle stall behavior that suits early aileron training and weekend casual flying alike. Use it to practice pattern flying — climb-out, downwind, base, and final at proper airspeeds — with the forgiving handling of a foamy. Pairs well with parkland and small-grass-strip landscapes. A friendly entry point in this pack alongside the Multiplex EasyStar and EasyGlider.
