The P-51 Mustang first flew on October 26, 1940. 'Dago Red' is one of several heavily modified Mustang racers that has competed at the Reno National Championship Air Races. The aircraft was famously associated with Skip Holm and other unlimited-class Reno pilots through the 1980s and 1990s. A natural sibling of the broader P-51 Mustang family.
