The Walter Extra 260 — the single-seat predecessor to the Extra 300, captured as a sport-scale RC model.
The Extra 260 is the work of Walter Extra of Hünxe, Germany. The 260 was Walter Extra's earlier single-seat unlimited-aerobatic monoplane, predecessor to the better-known two-seat Extra 300 introduced in 1988. The 260 used a Lycoming AEIO-540 engine and the same wood-and-composite airframe construction philosophy that would carry through the entire Extra lineage.
A natural sibling of the Extra 300 Red Bull (CV Planes Pack 2) and the broader Extra family across the catalog.
A demanding aerobatic mount with the distinctive German design philosophy. Use it for unlimited-aerobatic flying with the responsive handling of the original single-seat Extra design.
