About
The Twist 3D 60 is the middle-class member of the Hangar 9 Twist 3D family — sized for the .60-cubic-inch (about 10cc) two-stroke or four-stroke glow engine class. The .60-class sits between the smaller .40-class Twist (suitable for pilots stepping up from foam park-flyers) and the giant-scale .150-class Twist (for serious competition flying), making it the sweet spot for many flying-field 3D pilots.
Like every well-loved 3D ARF, the Twist 3D 60 earns its place in the hobby by being light enough for honest 3D maneuvers, strong enough to survive the inevitable cartwheel landings, and inexpensive enough to be a justifiable second airplane after a basic trainer.
