The Twist 3D 60 — the .60-class member of the Hangar 9 Twist 3D family — captured for serious intermediate-to-advanced 3D practice.
The Twist 3D 60 is the middle-class member of the Hangar 9 Twist 3D family — sized for the .60-cubic-inch (about 10cc) two-stroke or four-stroke glow engine class. The .60-class sits between the smaller .40-class Twist (suitable for pilots stepping up from foam park-flyers) and the giant-scale .150-class Twist (for serious competition flying), making it the sweet spot for many flying-field 3D pilots.
Like every well-loved 3D ARF, the Twist 3D 60 earns its place in the hobby by being light enough for honest 3D maneuvers, strong enough to survive the inevitable cartwheel landings, and inexpensive enough to be a justifiable second airplane after a basic trainer.
A serious 3D mount with the kind of stick discipline an honest .60-class 3D ARF demands. A natural sibling of the Twist 3D 40 (CV Planes Pack 6) and Twist 3D 150 in this same pack.
