The Twist 3D 150 is the giant-scale member of the Hangar 9 Twist 3D family — a Horizon Hobby balsa-and-ply ARF sized for the 1.50-cubic-inch (about 25cc) gas engine class. At this size the airframe carries a wingspan well over 80 inches, the kind of in-the-air presence that makes 3D maneuvers easy to read at altitude, and the substantial weight that demands serious gas-engine power for unlimited 3D performance.
Like every well-loved giant-scale 3D ARF, the Twist 3D 150 earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: large enough for serious 3D figures, strong enough to absorb the cartwheel landings that come with unlimited 3D practice, and conventional enough in construction that field repairs after the inevitable mistakes are practical.
