The Tribute 3D is a dedicated 3D aerobatic foamy in the kind of accessible-foam-construction category that has dominated unlimited 3D flying since the rise of brushless outrunners and lithium-polymer batteries in the mid-2000s. Like every well-loved 3D foamy, it earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: light enough for hover-on-the-prop maneuvers, tough enough to survive the inevitable cartwheel landings of 3D practice, and simple enough to pull out of the box and have flying the same afternoon.
