About
Vacca Valley RC (more commonly spelled Vaca Valley after the local agricultural valley) is a flying club field in California's Sacramento Valley region, near Vacaville. The author of this simulator visited the club to fly there, and the field was added to the simulator's catalog from those visits. The Sacramento Valley flatness and dry summers give the field its characteristic flying environment — wide-open horizons, predictable thermal conditions in the warmer months, and the kind of low-relief surrounding terrain that lets pilots see their aircraft clearly at altitude.
