About
Island Flyers is the real flying field of Ken Northup, the prolific RC modeler whose work appears throughout this simulator's catalog. Ken contributed many of the models in the simulator (the Beechcraft Staggerwing, Bellanca Decathlon, Cessna 182 Skylane, GeeBee R3 Fantasy Racer, and Magister Electric in the Aerobatic Trainers pack are all his designs, among others) and brought his home flying field along with the contributions. The Island Flyers landscape captures the field as Ken has known it through his years of model design and flying.
In the simulator
A welcoming flying field environment built into the simulator alongside Ken Northup's many contributed models. The friendly horizon and open airspace make it suitable for a wide range of airframes.
