Sedona — one of the simulator's first panoramic landscapes, built two decades ago using Terragen, capturing Arizona's iconic red-rock canyons.
The Sedona landscape captures the famous Sedona area of Arizona — the red-rock formations, dry creek beds, and high-desert vegetation that have made the location one of the most-recognized natural landscapes in the American Southwest. As one of the very first panoramic landscapes built into the simulator, Sedona was constructed roughly twenty years ago using Terragen procedural terrain rendering software. A natural sibling of the Hidden Mountain landscape — also a Sedona scene from the same original era of simulator development.
A scenic mountain flying environment with dramatic red-rock terrain and the elevated visual character of Arizona's high desert.
