The Lottsa Watts is a high-power electric 3D foamy in the kind of "more power than is strictly sensible" school of design that has been part of brushless-electric RC flying since outrunner motors and lithium-polymer batteries became affordable in the mid-2000s. The name is a tongue-in-cheek pun — "Lots of Watts" — that signals the intent: this is an airframe built around the available power rather than the available aerodynamics, with a light foam structure, oversize control surfaces, and a brushless powerplant that gives the aircraft enough thrust to hover-on-the-prop and accelerate vertically out of any flight regime.

Like every well-loved high-power 3D foamy, the Lottsa Watts earns its place in the hobby by being three things at once: light enough for unlimited 3D handling, tough enough to survive the inevitable misjudged hovers, and overpowered enough that the only meaningful limitation on aerobatic capability is the pilot's stick discipline. Symmetrical airfoil, big control throws, light wing loading — and enough thrust on tap to make every figure feel effortless if the pilot has the skill to demand it.
