The Akrotech Giles G-202 — the homebuilt unlimited-aerobatic monoplane that became the design ancestor of the MX Aircraft MX2.
The Akrotech Giles G-202 is the work of Richard Giles, an American aerobatic pilot and designer who introduced the type in 1993 as a homebuilt unlimited-aerobatic kit aircraft. The G-202 went on to be the design ancestor of the MX Aircraft MX2 — the modern unlimited-aerobat that won the 2008 World Advanced Aerobatic Championships under Rob Holland. A natural sibling of the Gary Wards MX2 (CV Planes Pack 4) — direct design lineage.
A demanding aerobatic mount with the responsive handling of an unlimited-class homebuilt.
